About Us

Hi my name is Ellessi Ricketts, I specialize in bringing art pieces to life using creative multidisciplinary skills to create beautifully personalized diamond art paintings that you are sure to love!

I've been creating Diamond art pantings for 6 years starting off with premade designs and smaller sizes. After 2 years I believed I had perfected my craft as much as possible by creating personalised paintings and working on some of my own themed diamond pieces. I had recognised the quality of different canvases (per Manufacturer) and I had learnt the importance of finding the correct size for each painting. However, it wasn't until 2021 when I finally learnt the most important thing about creating diamond paintings for customers...The various timings per size. So, in 2023, after 4 years of constant hard work, after creating 25-30 diamond art projects, I can now confidently say that I HAVE, finally, perfected my craft and I'm ready to share my diamond art paintings with the world!

Both took 3 days using a combination of fine tip pens and blending colouring pencils

Arts and crafts is passion of mine, creating decoupage boxes, vibrant and detailed drawings, public murals and event scrap books, but most of all I love creating my diamond art paintings. i find its a great way to preserve special memories, capture a serene moment in time and can also serve as a set piece at your local community events.

My career

I'm a community producer for an Arts Council England funded team called "Colours of Redbridge" based in Ilford in the London borough of Redbridge. My job is to scout, partner with, and produce free events throughout the Borough engaging with the community and putting on events that celebrate the creativity of our local community.

This diamond art painting was created using photographs I took, and compiling 12 pictures taken at 2024's Colours of Redbridge Events;

The "Stitch Your Style" Fashion Showcase featuring full outfits created by community participants over 12 weeks.

Our 5 day food festival, were participants were able to learn and create their own food and drinks such as; Chocolate bars, Fresh focaccia, Dumplings, handmade mixed herbal teas, and handmade spice rubs.

Our "Streets of Colour" Flag parade where participants were able to create their own flags and join our 2 parades; one with pan music and the other with a new Orleans style jazz band called "Da Brass"

Our Lantern Parade, where giant lanterns and 3ft puppets were made and showcased at night in the north of Redbridge.

Our South Asian "Truck Art" tour, where people were able to create their own beautiful pieces of South Asian art to take home

and last of all a picture of both our videographer Marc and photographer Nyla Sammons who produce all off the Colours of Redbridge media that you can find on our website and in the local newspapers and online news feeds.

With the aid of Freeform(Apple Editing App) I was then able to collate my pictures together and merge it with a colourful background.

This peice was created for the 2025 Colours of Redbridge "Home Away from Home" Event, showcasing South Asian truck art

My creativity doesn't just stop at physical art, I also work use other creative mediums.
Felicity Jones a contemporary and multidisciplinary metalworker based in East Ham has taught me a lot about welding, engraving and using plasma cutters. Together we created metal work to add to the colours of Redbridge "Home away from Home" south Asian art truck.

I've also worked with Carl Smith, one of the original actors and Director of "STOMP!", a theatre production dedicated to percussion and perfect timing. During our 2025 Colours of Redbridge "Big, small wonders" parade, with his guidance I was able to lead our group of trashcan percussionists throughout our parade.

"The Pixel Gallery" is just one of my creative endeavours. I majored in the performing arts,  Musical theatre, and studied textiles, media and music.

In 2010 I decided to open my own teaching business called "Psalms 1.5.0" and I started teaching music privately, mainly the piano, but later started teaching drums as well. Students range from the of ages 3 and up, and lessons are either at their homes or in a group setting.

Not only do I teach music but I play 3 instruments, piano, drums and alto saxophone. I compose and write my own songs, and occasionally I perform them too. They are mainly Rap Gospel and Hip hop Gospel accompanied by singing, with inspiration from artists such as “Dwayne tryumf” and “Guvna B”. Songs such as "Exodus 9" (a song about the battle between pharaoh and Moses) and "Freed Indeed" (a song about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ) have been performed and "Remember Me" (a song of remembrance for my family) is one that has had the most likes.
Teaching music is something that comes naturally for me and I love every second of it.
